Matthew Goldfine brings over 40 years of experience in design, construction, and development. As the former President of Excel Builders & Renovators Inc., Matthew led award-winning projects across New York City and New England, including restorations of historic brownstones, renovations for U.S. federal agencies, and high-precision design buildouts for institutions like Parsons School of Design. His expertise in large-scale construction and understanding of regulatory environments uniquely position White Bark for long-term success. Under his leadership, White Bark combines visionary real estate strategy with hands-on development and a deep understanding of local market needs.

With over a decade of collaboration alongside Matthew, Charles plays an integral role in White Bark’s daily operations and long-term planning. From contract negotiations and construction oversight to design review and development strategy, Charles brings deep hands-on experience and trusted leadership to every project. His steady guidance and operational insight ensure the company’s vision is executed with precision, efficiency, and integrity.

COLLEEN DOWNER

LEASING & PROPERTY MANAGER

For several years, Colleen has managed White Bark’s rental portfolio with professionalism, competence, and care. From listing new properties and screening applications to coordinating tours and processing deposits, she ensures tenants have a seamless experience from inquiry to move-in. Colleen also works closely with ownership and maintenance teams to uphold high standards across all units, ensuring compliance, comfort, and satisfaction.

SETH LEEMAN

PROPERTY & MAINTENANCE MANAGER

Seth is the “boots-on-the-ground” operational lead for White Bark’s properties, overseeing maintenance, repairs, vendor coordination, and day-to-day functionality across the portfolio. With a hands-on approach and a problem-solving mindset, Seth ensures that all buildings run smoothly, and that tenants’ needs are addressed quickly and professionally.

CONSULTING ADVISOR

Ian brings unmatched expertise in public policy, planning, and real estate redevelopment. A seasoned municipal executive and sustainability advocate, Ian has helped communities across Maine realize transformative projects through innovative capital planning, strategic redevelopment, and actionable local government policy implementation. His passion for community revitalization makes Ian a key resource for White Bark’s mission-driven development work.
