Founder & Managing Director
Matthew brings over 40 years of experience in design, construction, and development. Formerly President of Excel Builders & Renovators, he led complex projects across New York City and New England, from historic restorations to federal and institutional buildouts. His hands-on expertise, strategic leadership, and intuitive vision guide White Bark’s long-term growth.

CHIEF OF OPERATIONS
With over a decade of collaboration alongside Matthew, Charles plays an integral role in White Bark’s daily operations and long-term planning. From contract negotiations to development strategy and construction oversight, Charles brings hands-on experience and leadership to every project, ensuring the company’s vision is executed with precision, efficiency, and integrity.

IAN HOUSEAL
CONSULTING ADVISOR
Ian brings deep expertise in public policy, planning, and real estate redevelopment. A seasoned municipal executive and sustainability advocate, he has helped communities across Maine advance transformative projects through strategic redevelopment, innovative capital planning, and effective local policy, supporting White Bark’s mission-driven approach to community revitalization.

SETH LEEMAN
MAINTENANCE MANAGER
As the boots-on-the-ground operational lead, Seth oversees day-to-day maintenance, repairs, and vendor coordination across the portfolio. He ensures buildings operate smoothly and that tenant needs are addressed promptly and professionally, bringing a hands-on, solutions-oriented approach to property operations.

PROPERTY MANAGER
Colleen manages White Bark’s leasing operations with professionalism and care, overseeing listings, application screening, tours, and move-ins. She works closely with ownership and maintenance teams to ensure a seamless leasing experience while upholding high standards for quality, compliance, and resident satisfaction across the portfolio.

AMANDA TURNER
PROPERTY MANAGER
Amanda is a recent addition to the White Bark team, supporting property management and resident relations across the Kennebunk, Sanford, and Springvale area, including The Lafayette Center. She focuses on responsive communication, day-to-day operations, and building strong relationships with tenants to ensure positive and well-managed living and working environments.
