A MOMENT TO REFLECT AS WE MOVE FORWARD

I’m sure you can agree that the last few months have flown by. At White Bark Property we’ve been busy with projects underway, growing our team, and continuing to deliver for the tenants and communities who depend on us. Now, with the holidays and first months of the new year behind us, it felt like the right time to take a step back and share where we’ve been and where we’re headed.
2025 was a year of real momentum
Across our portfolio, we renovated more than 140 residential units, including 55 major remodels. These weren’t just cosmetic upgrades. They were thoughtful investments aimed at improving the quality, safety, livability, and efficiency of housing while extending the long-term value of our buildings.
We also completed several strategic acquisitions. One of the most significant was The Lafayette Center in Kennebunk, Maine – one of the town’s most prominent commercial buildings. Upon acquisition, we immediately embarked on a comprehensive overhaul to address long-standing infrastructure and operational issues. Over the course of the year, we made substantial investments in the property, including upgrades to the HVAC, boiler, and air conditioning to improve energy efficiency, upgrading the elevator to enhance safety and accessibility, renovating the interior with new flooring, ceilings, carpet, and paint, and repaving Storer Street and the parking lot. And we added new office and commercial tenants, creating space for local businesses to grow and thrive. Our goal with the Lafayette Center was simple: stabilize, modernize, and return the building to its role as a productive part of the community. A lot, I know. And I’m proud of the progress the team made in a relatively short period of time.
We expanded our presence in Bath, Maine with the acquisition of 832 Washington Street. Since acquiring the property, we’ve invested in meaningful upgrades, including new siding and roofing, interior improvements, and converting the building’s boiler from oil to natural gas to improve efficiency and reduce long-term operating costs. Bath remains an important community in our portfolio, and we are committed to providing dependable housing for the professionals, contractors, and workers who support Bath Iron Works, a cornerstone of both the local economy and our national security.
Behind the scenes, 2025 was also a year of team growth. We grew our management team and added field staff to ensure we’re maintaining the high standards our residents, partners, and communities expect and deserve. I know that as our portfolio grows, investing in the people who operate and care for our buildings is mandatory.
And the momentum continues into 2026!
We’ve already begun renovations on two historic Main Street properties in Sanford, Maine which are central to the city’s ongoing revitalization. 901 Main Street is currently under renovation and is expected to be completed this Spring, and 907 Main Street, which previously sat vacant, will undergo a transformation into a mixed-use building and is expected to be completed this Summer. With these renovations we aim to bring life back to the downtown by supporting local businesses and creating quality housing to fill demand.
We’re also excited to share that White Bark Property will continue to expand our presence in Kennebunk, Maine this year with the addition of another building to our portfolio. We have big plans for the property, and I am excited to announce more as soon – stay tuned!

I built White Bark Property with the idea of responsible, long-term investment and operations with integrity. Looking back, I believe that 2025 reinforced our approach, and looking ahead, 2026 is shaping up to continue our momentum in meaningful ways.
